In our chemical health assessments, a mental health professional with specialized training and experience in chemical health applies DSM-IV-R substance abuse and chemical dependency criteria to help determine the clinical significance of an individuals' pattern of use. All assessments are private and confidential and include an evaluation of mental health needs and functioning as well.
Reasons for a chemical health assessment include: an arrest or conviction of a DWI, a request from an attorney prior to a legal hearing, a performance or disciplinary situation arising from substance use at work or in school, a request from a concerned family member, a relationship disturbance due to use, or an individual's concern over their own use. We do not provide Rule 25 assessments.
