Navigating transitionary periods, relationships, identity, and feelings of loneliness, guilt, or shame can be overwhelmingly difficult to manage, not including additional stressors surrounding large family dynamics and conflicts. I am here to support the BIPOC community, in foster and adoptive families, particularly transracial adoptions, and people looking for support in foster and adoption trauma, identity, self-worth, and feelings of fear of failure. If you are struggling to navigate this world and need someone to talk to but don’t know how please reach out. I am here to offer support to teens, young adults, and couples.
As a transracial adoptee from South Korea, I bring a culturally affirming and intersectional lens to every session, using structural, experiential, and narrative modalities. I can offer a voice and guide you through anxiety, depression, relationships, and trauma. I have worked in various settings since 2011, I know personally the realities and challenges.
It takes courage to reach out and may feel scary, but I promise that you have the answers within yourself and my role is to help you unveil it–layer by layer–so that you can bring your best self forward. I believe therapy is the best form of exploring your strengths and sharing your own stories of healing and growth. Let’s connect–reach me by email or phone.

I believe we all could benefit from experiencing a Mind/Body/Spirit connection to find healing and unlock our full potential, and therapy is a way to get there. My approach is to get to know and understand you, follow your lead and adapt to your personal style and needs. I utilize a wide range of techniques, such as Client-Centered, Emotionally Focused Therapy, CBT, IFS, and some DBT principles with mindfulness, somatic therapy and attachment theory for individuals. I also utilize EFT, the Gottman method, RLT and attachment therapy to work with couples.
I have experience with a variety of mood disorders, different kinds of depressive and anxiety disorders, attachment wounds, trauma, grief and loss, cultural challenges and life transitions, self-esteem, infertility challenges and relationship difficulties. And I am culturally competent with the Hispanic cultures and culturally sensitive to other heritages.
I love working with adolescents 17+, adults and couples, with especial interest in interracial couples and BIPOC individuals. I would be honored to walk alongside with you and look forward to be a witness of your healing journey. Hablo nativo Español al 100% y me encantaria servirte!

It takes a lot of courage to reach out to a therapist, and you've taken that first step already. I don't know your story yet, but if you are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, or loss, you don't need to go through it alone. You deserve support, comfort, and help. Whatever you're struggling with, you're invited to my office—in person or virtual—for a conversation.
I'm an open, gentle, sometimes sarcastic person. Therapy usually involves grappling with some uncomfortable feelings, but my clients and I also often joke and laugh in our meetings. I have training and experience dealing with a range of issues from grief to ADHD, but everyone's path is unique. I'd love to walk with you for as long as I can be helpful.

Therapy can be many things: healing, grounding, even artistic. At its best, it is a space where your strengths, pain, and experiences are honored, and where real change becomes possible. I believe in meeting people where they are, and see therapy as a collaborative journey, using your personal story as the guide. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches to help you work through anxiety, depression, and trauma, while supporting you in reconnecting with your inner resilience.
I have experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and feel strongly about creating a therapy space that is inclusive, respectful, and affirming. My current areas of interest are trauma/PTSD, anxiety and depression, and I work with preteens, teens, and adults.

Witnessing people create meaningful changes in their lives has been my greatest privilege as a therapist. Strong, loving relationships, healthy family bonds, vocational success, healing from wounds of trauma, and reconnecting to a joyful participation in life are some of the experiences I have been able to share with clients. I hold a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy and bring my background in creative arts, trauma work, and rich life experience to help clients get past the barriers of anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My experience includes work with children, adolescents, adults and families. My primary specialty is trauma, but I also have a lot of experience with ADHD, children and adults impacted by divorce and family transitions. Other specialties include anxiety, depression, relationship struggles and compulsive behavior patterns.

I can help you replace old thought patterns and coping mechanisms with ones that will be more effective in your current circumstances, leading to a more fulfilling life. I see each therapy or testing session as an act of great trust by the client to let me into your world. I approach therapy from a Relational-Cultural model, integrating your values, history, personality, and strengths with what we learn from our time together. Let's work together to take those next steps toward a life worth living.
I'm Dr. Ali (she/they) and I have worked with many teens, adults, and families recover from trauma/stressors, learn to manage depression, anxiety, and many other mental health concerns. I combine humor, education, resource-building, and relationship building to meet your needs. If you know you are stuck, I know ways we can figure out why and get you unstuck.

People are unique human beings with a long list of remarkable qualities. Sometimes though, we feel that we have qualities that we need to work on to be our better selves. I work with individuals to find and strengthen those qualities. I consider each of the individuals who come to me for sessions as just that, individuals with autonomy. I use Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Play and Art Therapy.
I will help you figure out what you need and want, support healthy boundaries in your relationships, teach concrete skills that you can use, and guide you as you re-parent your inner child. Most importantly, in our work together you will find that you are a lovable human being with lots of awesome traits and that you belong in this world.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have a special interest in pediatric medication management, neurodevelopmental and genetic disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and co-occuring intellectual disabilities. I regularly use genetic testing (Genesight) to develope a medication treatment plan that is truly tailored to each person and the goals they envision achieving. Consultation only appointments available if you have a psychiatrist you love but would like a second opinion.
I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have over ten years of experience providing medication management for ages 4+ for a variety of conditions including anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, depression, and mood disorders. I take into consideration a comprehensive assessment and develop a realistic treatment plan with patients and families.

I am passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of relationships and attachment. Utilizing attachment theory, relational dynamics, and some CBT, I will guide you in understanding how your past influences your present connections. My approach is rooted in empathy and collaboration, creating a safe space for you to explore your feelings, patterns, and behaviors. I believe that healing begins with awareness and that building strong, secure relationships is essential for our mental well-being. Together, we will work to identify attachment styles, challenge thought patterns, and foster deeper connections.
My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, and trauma. I enjoy working with young adults, adults, and couples. For couples interested in pre-marital/pre-commitment work, I am certified as a Prepare/Enrich facilitator and can provide an assessment and feedback sessions.
