Navigating transitionary periods, relationships, identity, and feelings of loneliness, guilt, or shame can be overwhelmingly difficult to manage, not including additional stressors surrounding large family dynamics and conflicts. I am here to support the BIPOC community, in foster and adoptive families, particularly transracial adoptions, and people looking for support in foster and adoption trauma, identity, self-worth, and feelings of fear of failure. If you are struggling to navigate this world and need someone to talk to but don’t know how please reach out. I am here to offer support to teens, young adults, and couples.
As a transracial adoptee from South Korea, I bring a culturally affirming and intersectional lens to every session, using structural, experiential, and narrative modalities. I can offer a voice and guide you through anxiety, depression, relationships, and trauma. I have worked in various settings since 2011, I know personally the realities and challenges.
It takes courage to reach out and may feel scary, but I promise that you have the answers within yourself and my role is to help you unveil it–layer by layer–so that you can bring your best self forward. I believe therapy is the best form of exploring your strengths and sharing your own stories of healing and growth. Let’s connect–reach me by email or phone.
