Therapy can be incredibly helpful for those navigating anxiety, stress, and developing coping skills. I have experience working with neurodivergent clients and am passionate about continuing to support individuals in this area. As someone who is organized, motivated, and goal-oriented, I aim to work with clients who are ready to take steps toward achieving their goals in a supportive, non-judgmental space. We're in this together, and I’m here to support you on your journey or the next chapter of your life.
My approach is always rooted in understanding and empathy, providing a safe space where you can feel heard and grow. I help clients identify their strengths, successes, and areas of growth. My therapeutic style combines person-centered care, cognitive-behavioral techniques, strength-based focus, and trauma-informed practices.
If you're ready to process your thoughts and feelings and move forward with your goals, I’m here to help guide you your path for growth. Together, we’ll build a strong connection in a judgment-free environment, working toward the positive changes you’re looking for.

I consider the opportunity to learn about a client's unique inner experiences to be a wonderful privilege. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, or seeking deeper self-understanding, therapy offers a space to explore, learn and evolve. I view therapy as a collaborative journey, where your experiences and insights guide our work together. My aim is to create a warm, open, and safe environment where you feel heard and supported.
My work is integrative and rooted in Person-Centered Theory. I utilize various interventions including Emotionally Focused Therapy, CBT, and an existential approach. I have experience with adults and couples with a range of ages, cultural backgrounds, and presenting concerns including life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, and identity exploration.

Life is always challenging, and my goal as a therapist is to work alongside you to address issues that are keeping you from living life according to your expectations. I believe in leveraging your strengths, your unique sense of self, and resources, to work towards your personal or relational goals. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, families, and couples in non-profit, residential facilities, in-home, and outpatient settings across the Twin Cities area.
My primary specialty area is working with families and couples with high conflict. Other specialty areas include cross-cultural issues, relationship issues, communication issues, parental issues, anxiety, depression, and impulsive behaviors. I speak fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and intermediate Malay. I am trained in EMDR and am an Enrich/Prepare facilitator.

At the core of my work is a deep respect for each person’s lived experience and identity. My current person-centered practice is heavily informed by my background in community mental health, case management, and advocacy; I approach therapy through a multicultural and accepting lens, always seeing you as a human first — not a diagnosis or a problem to be fixed.
My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, understood, and supported. Together, we work to identify your strengths, explore challenges, and develop tools that align with your values and goals.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and Solution-Focused Therapy. By integrating these approaches, I strive to offer individualized treatment that supports healing, growth, and meaningful change at your own pace.

I take a warm, curious approach to understanding you and the roots of your suffering. Together, we’ll explore not only what you’re experiencing, but why, so you can better understand yourself and navigate your life with more clarity and confidence. I’m a natural “dot connector”—almost forensic in how I help piece together the ways your history, relationships, beliefs, and experiences intersect and shape the present.
I work extensively with trauma (both recent and historical), relationship challenges, and substance use concerns. My goal is to help you feel truly seen, understood, and supported as we build a healing path that is both informed and deeply personal to you. Wherever you’re starting from, we’ll walk the path of understanding and healing together.
My pronouns are they/them. I have extensive experience supporting clients within the LGBTQIA+ community as well as those outside of it, and I strive to offer an affirming, knowledgeable environment for people of all identities and backgrounds.

There’s a lot in life we can’t control, but your power to make change is greater than you think. I offer a welcoming space to discuss life’s big questions or steps toward your goals. If you’re boxed in by work pressures, family conflicts, relationship issues, or harmful habits, let’s build a plan for change. If anger or stress are causing actions that don’t match your values, let’s draft a map for navigating hard moments.
My approach is flexible and nonjudgmental. I integrate tools from dialectical behavior therapy to help clients improve communication and build comfort with tough emotions. I take a strengths-based approach to highlight the skills and resilience you already have, and take an existential view with clients exploring their purpose in the world.

It can be exhausting to spend so much time thinking about what you should be doing differently while feeling unsure how to make things change. Maybe anxiety is taking up more space, conflict in your relationships keeps repeating, or you’re harder on yourself than you would be to someone you care about. Therapy gives us a chance to slow down and look at what’s happening when you feel stuck. Rather than pushing feelings aside or trying to fix them right away, we can listen to what they’re trying to tell us and use that understanding to create meaningful change.
I work with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, social anxiety, blended family dynamics, and religious trauma. My approach tends to draw from mindfulness, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and internal family systems (IFS).
But often, what seems to be even more important than the approach we use is the relationship we build along the way. I want therapy to be a place where you feel comfortable being yourself, feel understood, and can make sense of what you’re going through.

It’s hard to feel at peace when you’re overwhelmed, burned out, masking, or carrying things alone for too long. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s weighing on you, express yourself openly, and begin overcoming the obstacles keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll focus on helping you live more authentically, reconnect with your priorities, and build more trust and compassion with yourself and others.
I use person-centered, eclectic approaches tailored to your individual needs and believe struggles and conflict can become opportunities for growth, healing, and self-understanding. Therapy can help you reframe painful experiences, feel less isolated, and move through life with greater clarity and confidence.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I am a certified art therapist and incorporate creative approaches when helpful. I work primarily with older teens and adults and have specialized experience supporting people navigating autism, trauma, anxiety, depression, mania, and serious and persistent mental illness.
