I consider the opportunity to learn about a client's unique inner experiences to be a wonderful privilege. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, or seeking deeper self-understanding, therapy offers a space to explore, learn and evolve. I view therapy as a collaborative journey, where your experiences and insights guide our work together. My aim is to create a warm, open, and safe environment where you feel heard and supported.
My work is integrative and rooted in Person-Centered Theory. I utilize various interventions including Emotionally Focused Therapy, CBT, and an existential approach. I have experience with adults and couples with a range of ages, cultural backgrounds, and presenting concerns including life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, and identity exploration.

Thank you for advocating for yourself and/or your relationship—it's a brave and vulnerable step. Sometimes life gets in the way of our growth. Sometimes our past casts long shadows into the present. And sometimes, it's the fear of the future that keeps us stuck. My experience includes working with children, individuals, couples, and families. I offer a non-judgmental and supportive space to talk through what’s been on your mind, what’s been worrying you, or what you’d like to change. I’m a person of color, fluent in Arabic and English, and committed to creating a welcoming space for people from all walks of life.
I take a person-centered, experiential approach—meaning our time together is focused on you. I believe each person is unique: I’m interested in your values, early experiences, cultural background, and how all of these influence your relationships and decisions today.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply trying to understand yourself better, I'm here to support you. I’m especially attuned to the unique challenges that can come with navigating multiple cultural identities, inter-generational expectations, or the pressure to appear strong while feeling stuck inside.

Seeking change requires risk, and risk requires vulnerability. One of my greatest honors as a therapist is being trusted to witness and participate in one’s healing journey. I believe in the importance of developing the therapeutic relationship and creating a space where you are able to be your authentic self. I use person-centered, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness and EMDR modalities to help you achieve your goals. We work together to restructure thinking patterns, explore your story, and reduce recurrent distress.
I have extensive experience working with substance abuse, adolescent anger management, life transitions, gender and sexuality issues and trauma therapy. I enjoy working with adults, adolescents (15+), and within the LGBTQ+ community.

Through my 20 years as a therapist I’ve come to understand the common issues that get in the way of peoples’ growth and success. I can help you identify what is getting in your way, understand what you learned early on that caused you to feel stuck, and heal from those issues to create lasting change. I utilize trauma treatments such as EMDR and other experiential strategies to help you engage in life and relationships with more vibrancy and joy. I am also certified in Terry Real's Relational Life Therapy (RLT) for couples counseling and welcome couples to therapy utilizing this effective approach for sustainable relational change.
I have specialized experience working with the LGBTQ community and provide a safe and affirming environment. I work with people on issues of sex and sexuality in a sex-positive manner. I am trauma-informed and understand the effects of trauma, both big and small, and have strategies to help people heal from those painful life experiences.
No life issue is too small for therapy. If you are looking to create richer and more fulfilling relationships, increase your self confidence, and learn how to be the parent you always needed, I can help you with that. I look forward to meeting with you soon.

I am passionate about empowering my clients to achieve their goals. Therapy is a highly useful tool which can aid us in our journey to becoming our most regulated selves. My approach to therapy is warm, empathetic, and focused upon your personal strengths. I draw on a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to meet my clients where they are.
I have experience working with all age groups and demographics, and have a special interest in working with teens and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. My therapeutic focuses surround life transitions, managing communication, self esteem, and identity exploration.
I believe that our lives are shaped by the way we interact with the world, which is why I use my therapeutic practice as a way to make my clients feel seen, heard, and understood.

My primary speciality is working with PTSD and trauma. I hear from a lot of clients that their previous experiences in therapy have felt like places to be heard but not to actually change. This often leaves them feeling stuck. I really like to provide a new opportunity for clients like this. My goal is to support meaningful changes for clients with these types of concerns. Are you someone who has experienced sexual assault, childhood abuse, domestic violence, or other traumatic event(s)? Are you a veteran, first-responder, or front-line medical worker? If so, I’d be glad to hear from you.
Although my primary specialty is in PTSD and Trauma, often therapy doesn’t stop there for folks. I have had great success in working with Anxiety and Depression, relationship concerns often related to trauma history, as well as folks who have Bipolar and other mood regulation disorders.
I try to emphasize evidence-based practices as much as possible, so if you like therapy that has clear research support, you’re in the right place. I take a person-centered approach, meaning that you and I will collaborate on what works best. I’m here to work with you and whatever unique challenges and circumstances you’re experiencing.

Maybe you find yourself feeling overwhelmed at the prospect of adding "one more thing" to your plate or tired of trying an endless list of self-improvement tasks, only to feel like the quick fix doesn't fit your circumstances. I meet my clients with a warm, strength-focused, and culturally informed perspective to ensure they are receiving care tailored to them.
My primary focus is on supporting families and individuals through life-transitions, not limited to but including: parenting a neurodivergent child, teen struggles, pre-marital therapy, faith deconstruction and questioning, and launching from the nest/dating as an adult.
